Project Introduction

The Planned University for development has resulted from years of research and setting up systems to apply. The thinking started from the joint research and publications of Professor Raphael Njoroge and Professor Arthur Gerstenfeld recorded in numerous articles and two published books.

  1. Africa. International Business and Education a focus on Africa and United States - 2004
  2. Africa: The Next Decade - 2005.
This was then advanced through various meetings and in the WPI U.S-Africa business conferences 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Facts

Every Year in Kenya, 330,000 Students Graduate from High School
About 27,000 (About 8%) get opportunity in the current Kenya University System (Private & Public)
Development and higher education are interrelated.

Goals

  1. Improvement of Environment.
  2. Teach students how they can impact the environment through project based learning.
  3. Introduce new planned systems of town settlement.
  4. Creation of jobs.
  5. Increase Kenya GDP.
  6. Create investment opportunities for Kenyans.
  7. Encourage and partner with Entrepreneurs in creation of businesses in Kenya.
